Anderson back with Falcons; Leftwich maybe, too.

this is a discussion within the Saints Community Forum; People want Carney gone, so he is gone. Now they don't want Mare. Then they wanted Fred Thomas gone, now they want him back as a starter. Make up your minds....

Maybe I missed that one, but who was crying for Toast to return as a starter? I'd say that guy needs to step away from the moonshine for a while...

Fred was not THAT bad. He guarded against TO with a broke hand, and shut him down - 1 TD. Fred may not be the best but Jason David just sucks.

Yes, I would take Fred over Burnt Toast any day.

Andersen is a great guy and a great player, and I hope he goes into the HOF as a Saint.

Bottom line though, he doesn't have the leg anymore, forcing a team to carry an extra kicker or have a punter who can kickoff. His long last year was 45 yards, and the Birds other kicker was put in for long field goals.

I was all for getting Leftwich, if just to spite ATL. My guess he is starting week 9, after the bye
