this is a discussion within the Saints Community Forum; call the plays for a change, that way he can get a better hands on with the players as they come off of the field, it would give him time with his players on the sidelines when they come off ...

Sean should try to let his offensive coordinator
call the plays for a change, that way he can get a better hands on with the players as they come off of the field, it would give him time with his players on the sidelines when they come off of the field...
It's just something to think about.. Sean is a QB at heart, he really needs to work with Brees during the game. |

Re: Sean should try to let his offensive coordinator
People were saying, last year, that he was genius. What happened to that?

Re: Sean should try to let his offensive coordinator
They weren't saying that about the D coach. I'm starting to think Euph's on to something here.

Re: Sean should try to let his offensive coordinator
I dont' think there is anything wrong with Sean play calling... thats not it at all. Its the fact we haven't done anything to build our OL and DL in years and if we did with scrap players we managed to get.
The mere fact that after 40 seasons we had 8 winning seasons. The one good run we had is when our D was dominate (Dome Patrol). The teams that win and win consistantly all have good to great lines. Look back at history and you see the the dynastys all had there big name players but they also had the lines to always keep them in games and control the trenches. The other thing is that the D we are currently in SUCKS and we are toast in man to man and we need to at best to get the hell out of it already! Just getting out of it is better than what we are doing. We can't get pressure on teh QB and the WR will get open with a little time against any CB one on one. That D coach doesn't know that by now he should be fired. |

Re: Sean should try to let his offensive coordinator
Doesn't matter who calls the plays if the line can't block for the play called.

I like the balls he displayed on that play call. I liked it. Didn't work, but if it had, it would've been great. Might've sparked something there.
