Carolina will run all over the saints, lets loose all the games to get some good draft pick's and then trade Bush, for a real RB, and mybe a defence as well, that D is BAD, the saints were around 28mill below the cap, if you want to play, you got to pay !!!!!!!!!
again there were alot of good players out there before the season started.

I don't think it has anything to do with the cap its just that they spent what they have in the wrong areas for years now. Get an O line and a D and we can have a few good winning years in stead of one every decade or so.

Re: Saints' catch a break with bye before Carolina

I think the break is going to be a good thing. This team just needs to step back and catch their breath. They played so well in the pre-season, and even though it was the pre-season, our offense was dominating 1st team defenses. I think that whatever the problem is, it's just mental.

I actually get to go to the game next Sunday, which will be my first Saints game in the Dome since I was about 2. I can't wait. I love this team, and I've invested too much emotional property in this team to give up on them now. They have the talent, and I just hope that they can get their heads right.

I tend to disagree that they played well in preseaon. THey got spanked by Pitt. A team with a good line.

Re: Saints' catch a break with bye before Carolina

The Carolina game appears to be exactly what the Saints need. With the injury bug hitting so hard, the Saints hopefully went back to the drawing board. The Saints should have ample time to figure out a decent game plan against this team. Not to mention that our friend Jake is probably going to be out never hurts either. Right now, the Panthers are about as bad as the Saints, especially since our friend Jake is out. Look for a game of something like Saints 16, Panthers 10. David Carr gets sacked 8 times is another prediction.

No one except Dallas and Green Bay are doing well in the NFC. So I think the Saints can get in the playoff race.
