Other questions to concern ourselves with is: "IS HE IN SHAPE", "IS HE READY TO GO", "IS HE MENTALLY PREPARED" or will he take off to some remote island in the middle of no wheres and get high singing "CAUSE I GOT HIGH, CAUSE I GOT HIGH, CAUSE I GOT HIGH". I was gonna pay my child support but then I got high. I was going to play of the Saints again then I saw they no blockers for me so I got high. |
Re: Irony Could Be Running the Ball in New Orleans Soon
We've got what we need in the back field (for the moment). I think Reggie can do the job of carrying the lion's share of the load. Turning the corner is out - too tough at this level. Dive him out of the "I", off guard/off tackle, lead by Karney. If he can break through into the secondary 2-3 times he will get good numbers and force some changes on defense that would let Drew Brees relax a little. Stecker and Thomas aren't slouches either. If we get a good push up front, we will begin to see a change in our success. Until now, they haven't shown the ability to push anything. In my mind, that means that they are due.

Rickey's out of the question. It's not even worth discussing. He washed up. Just let it go.
I agree that the Deuce thing may be a blessing in disguise, but not because Reggie will be running the ball a lot more. I predict that the Saints are about to start passing 40-50 times a game. The offense will be similar to the Eagles or even the Martz-era Rams. If Payton can use Reggie like Westbrook or Faulk, then that's fine with me. |
