Re: Dwayne Bowe
We could have got Dwayne Bowe instead of Meachem. Did the front office watch this guy play in LSU. Bowe and Colston could have been the most feared WRs in th NFL

If I am wrong then the front office is a bunch of idiots, if we weren't drafting a dominant D or O line and drafting just because then Bowe seems like a much better player. |

Re: Dwayne Bowe
Bowe was the 23rd pick. The Saints picked 27th. So, no, we couldn't have gotten him.

Re: Dwayne Bowe
Well, it's been an entire pre-season and three regular games with a bye. Meachem should at least have a clue by now. I say it's time to activate him for a couple games, and let Devery Henderson sit. Lets see what the kid can do. If Meachem is still not ready, at least it gives Henderson enough time to get HIS act together.

Re: Dwayne Bowe
Opps my bad... I was mistaken.
He ran a 4.5 on this first run and a 4.55 on his second try I believe. Oh yea, on Stallworth and Henderson... we can see that straight line speed means little. On Madden, it would be a different story. |

Re: Dwayne Bowe
What difference does it make? We have Meachum, he's still in sweats during games and is clueless/useless at this point. At some point, Payton has to put him in to evaluate his progress. Hopefully, before the season is really over.
