I think you are right. We need a DT that will draw double teams, if they don't double team our DT our DE will have a better edge -one on one. Not they seem to be drawing a lot of double teams themselves. With Dorsey I'd say give the DE another shot next year or trade them to get some baddly needed help else where.

the defense has been ignored in the draft as we all know. But if there is a stud OL prospect take him. FINISH the building please so we can move on. Please tell me we are close to done with offensive dominance in the draft.

Staying in your lanes is different from getting push. You can play the run good and not get any push. If you do not get push your DE's will not get to the QB. I am not agreeing with the above poster, but if your QB can just step to avoid them because of a lack of interior push you will never get a sack. Look back at the Titans game, Drew could never just step up, Haynesworth had an amazing push just about every play. Just because we perform well against the run does not mean our DT's are playing well and our DE's are playing bad. |
