Why you must run the ball.
Dating back to last year.
With Drew Brees at the helm, excluding the CAR game in week 17... The Saints are 3-10 when Brees attempts more than 33 passes. 3-6 in '06 0-4 in '07. CAR only threw the ball 18 times Sunday. Their average rush was 3.1 ours 3.2. Run the ball Punting is not a terrible thing... |

Secondly you can't run the ball if you have no offensive line to block for your so called running backs. build a team around an offensive line and Defenstive line not a running back who isn't a running back. |

NEWS FLASH: We lost.
We couldn't stop them when we needed to and they did it by running the ball mostly. 3rd string QB comes in and marches them to 3 points. Where was the pressure. When you have a 3rd string QB in the game you bring the pressure and T-off on him. This was a far inferior team we have played against all year. They should have won the game. You guys are saying it was closer but it was a team that hasn't been as good as the others. We are going to get spanked by other teams with D's and O's. |
