HOME TOWN TEAM: There are 12 Louisiana players and seven players from the greater New Orleans area on the Saints training camp roster this summer.

Ashley Ambrose, Lynaris Elpheage, Talman Gardner, Terrell Harris, Derrick Lewis, Michael Lewis, and Derrick Rodgers are from New Orleans.

Jerry Fontenot is from Lafayette, Kenderick Allen is from Bogalusa, Fakhir Brown is from Mansfield, Kerwin Cook is from Ferriday, and Walt Williams is from Baton Rouge.

I just thought this was interesting to know.
