prediction for Seattle game......

I think Seattle is not as good as they have been the last few years. So, my prediction is....

Seattle 28
Saints 17

Cause we really stink!!!!

Re: prediction for Seattle game......

There is a slight chance that the Saints will redeem themselves in this one. You know, maybe knock the crap out of them just enough to have everyone wondering why they are so bad this year? Well, I honestly do not really see it happening. Seattle has to redeem themselves from a 21-0 game that the Steelers put on them, plus Seattle still has much to play for. Anyway, no prediction for a score, just an 0-5 prediction after it's all said and done. At some point the Saints are going to show up for a game, but not this one...

Man a thread like this would have generated 30 posts already... I see everyone is scared to stick there neck out anymore.

Did you all put away your Bush Jerseys for next year as well already?

Here's my prediction. I predict that there will be a game and it will be in Seattle. I to afraid to try to predict any score, you never know which Saints team will show up. I still don't think these guys are as bad as they're playing.

Re: prediction for Seattle game......

I'm going to guess

Seattle - 27
New Orleans - 17

NOT a very good environment.

If we don't turn the ball over, I predict

Seattle - 17
New Orleans - 21

I bought a Bush jersey a couple of weeks back and will be wearing it come this Sunday.

Euphoria, what's up with you lately?

How long will you beat the dog bro?

The site is doing very well with members logging on, we're growing everyday, the members will continue to come here for good talk, they love the Saints and this site as much as I do.

This will be my last comment on this subject.

Just enjoy Euphoria, you have made some really good threads/post here in the past, I still consider you a good apple dude.:D

what would you like people to log on and say...

the o-line can't block.
the d-line can't rush.
the qb can't throw.
the rb can't run.
the wr can't catch
the db's can't cover.
the lb can't hit.
the coach can't playcall.
the d cord is clueless.

... it's all been said in hundreds of different ways. So...I just log on now to see ridiculous posts that suggest that reggie bush isn't very good, and I don't even bother responding.

I'm tired of the negativity and second guessing of coaching descisions (alot of it is for good reason, Im just tired of reading it) and past draft picks.

Last season when we played well in all but a few of our games...everyone seemed to be happy with our players, and thought we had talent that would improve. But all of a sudden...we are second guessing everybody on the roster.

It looks bad right now. Really really bad. But until we lose 7 or 8 games...I STILL BELIEVE.
I simply want (at least) one of my Saints to step up and play his a@@ off...win, lose, or draw. Then maybe we'll have something better to discuss.

But anyway....GEAUX SAINTS

And...

Saints 27
Seahawks 24

Caddy, did you notice Brian Simmons last game? I think we had a better presence up-front with him in the game. I can tell he's got some instincts.

wassup williemac

yeah i was happy to see simmons out there. I thought our defense played the run good the other day. i think simmons had a nice part in that. i wonder if he'd look even better in the middle.

Man we should have won that game!

Guys, mmaybe it's just me but I don't recall hearing Simmons name called that often. I tried to keep an eye on him but I really don't remember him doing that much. I might b wrong but I really don't remember it at all. I have the game tevo'd so i'll go back and watch it again.

And Simmons played well. He as physical and attacking...I don't know what his numbers were though.

Must be just you,it's showing up on mine. Try restarting your computer. Mine did that last night and that's what I did. It worked for me.

As for Simmons, i must be blind cause I sure didn't see him doing much.

Re: prediction for Seattle game......

I agree...and the worst part about the loss was that it was to the PANTHERS!

MAN i really hate the panthers. I'm glad we socked Carr in the mouth. D-line looked improved, and more disruptive.

We held them to 88 rushing yards - an improvement
Held Steve Smith to only 4 catches for 47 yards 1 TD - an improvement
No big plays allowed (other then short pass to Steve Smith for TD) - an improvement
We sacked Carr and had a few tackles for a loss behind the line - an improvement
We had a BIG interception at a crucial time by MM - an improvement
Brees had more time to throw the ball - an improvement
Devery Henderson caught a LONG ball - an improvement (this gave me flashback to last year.)
FB Karney had a run for a TD - an improvement

Look at the bright side, we're improving vastly and quickly. The only thing that didn't materialize was the points - but other than that, we won the game. With a better kicking game, Fujita back in, Simmons in for Simoneau, fresh legs at CB - we'll at the very least be able to compete again.

Simmons might not have put up MASSIVE numbers, but I did notice him in the game. More than I could say for Simoneau. Simoneau just doesn't have a presence.

Re: prediction for Seattle game......

poster names keep disappearing on me as well
i don't log on much but i check the site 3-4 times a day by phone and again on the puter when i get home
as far as the team goes...i don't think they are nearly as bad as they are playing
i think confidence has alot to do with it
the sad part is it may only come back once we have nothing to lose anymore and we go out and make winning look easy
something needs to jumpstart this team b4 its too late

as always, GO SAINTS!

I'll be happy to anwer your questions...
Whats up with Euphoria?
call it frustration if you will, for a number of years I have been saying what is wrong with this team and what we need to do to fix it and we haven't addressed it. There are a lot of people that see us lose and look at 'Bree's had a bad game, Bush had a bad game'. There is a reason they had a bad game... do you want to know why they had a bad game???

I have made it my personal quest to point out to anyone who fails to see and realize what the real problem of the team.

How about making it your own personal goal to be a Saints fan and not a critic. There are already enough of those in the media.

It won't benefit us as fans, and posters on the forum to know what the real problems are cause WE aren't the ones that can fix them. Other people are entitled to opinions, wrong, or right - but first and foremost get off the critical bandwagon already.

And not to pile on, but in all seriousness: We get your take on what the problem is bud. Point taken. But what do you hope to accomplish by stating on every thread the same old O line mantra over and over ad-nauseum? We hear you (and others) loud and clear. Beating that drum too much simply smacks of whining.

Exactly. It's like a scratched cd that keeps on playing the same thing over and over. No need to make every thread into the same topic.

It's getting very old... and annoying.

Re: prediction for Seattle game......

I think that if the team can stop Bernard and Kerney on the pass rush and contain Alexander they should win. I'm not really excited about playing the Sunday night game in a hostile environment. I'd much rather it be against the Falcons at home in the noon slot. The rational side of me thinks the Seahawks win easily, but my gut says the Seashawks win easily. Not to worry, though, I'll find a way to talk myself into a win by the time the "really last final last dog picks" thread comes out.

Saints 24 - Hawks 17
Somehow most everyone shows up to play and makes all of us wonder what has been going on. Sean Payton realizes that Mike Karney can actually run, block, and catch. That realization opens up up everything - for Bush, Drew, WR's, and even keeps the defense off of the field long enough to get us a long awaited win. At least I hope that that's the way it plays out...on national TV.

Re: prediction for Seattle game......

I agree with WillMac, this last weekend was a significant improvement over the previous 3 games. Now, that was against a team that had an offense that was pretty lame, but their defense has been good and the only thing you can take from the game is that the kicking game and the inside running game has been sorely lacking. Both of those things are fixable.

I think the Saints will win this one because the 'Bawks think they got a pansie.

Saints 24-13

I'm going to this game and I'm excited.
I've heard people say that the Seahawks fans are the worst. Knowing that, I most assuredly will be wearing Saints attire. So if the Saints win, nobody in Seattle will want to look at the reminder I will be wearing on my head and chest. If they lose, nothing will change. I'm a Saints fan. I always will be.

Re: prediction for Seattle game......

Normally I watch a lot of football, but the Saints games this year have been all I could stomach (literally). As such, it's hard to make a prediction on the Seattle game. Prior to the start of the season when both teams still looked good, I predicted us to lose this one. Course at the time I was picking us to go 10-6.

Now since both teams are struggling..... I still pick Seattle in this one, just not sure how badly the score will be lopsided.

TheDawsons 10-10-2007 03:18 PM

Re: prediction for Seattle game......

I STILL wear my Deuce jersey proudly. If we have no turnovers, I think this has got to be the week we get a win. And we score more than 20. Saints 21 Seahawks 17. If we are minus in turnovers and have more than 2 dropped passes. Better luck next year!! Oh yeah, why not let Karney get some extra carries in the absense of deuce. maybe even throw him the ball, atleast he catches!!

Seattles going to be made after last week so I say:

SEAHAWKS 38 - SAINTS 24

and I'm being really nice with that 24. I really think we should start thinking about trading for another first round pick this year and pick up the the top QB and CB in the draft. I think we have the RB situation solved for now and WR's will come along after we cut Henderson and Meachem, what a waste and pick up a couple of 2nd round wide receivers to replace them. We then need to pick up the best fa DT, MLB and another CB and please bring back Connor Hughes from Virginia as our kicker now.
