Please Bench...
FRED THOMAS!!! I know Jason David is hurt, but Fred has shown for years that he is a horrible CB. He was in coverage on the Steve Smith TD, and also got bulldogged backwards for a good 5 yards on the play prior to the FG.

WHY not play Young? Give him a chance. After the 8 billion screw-ups by Thomas, he literally couldn't do any worse.

I thought the poor personnel decisions left when Haslett was fired, but Payton REALLY needs to re-evaluate #22......

Freddie was burnt in the 4th quarter, again. He sat on the in-active list for four games and then they put him in the last half of that game. Are they desperate?

Man, do I ever have to agree with this thread. Freddie needs to go away. I'd rather see someone out there where the outcome of the play is still in doubt. With Freddie you KNOW what the outcome is going to be. I like Freddie but his time is past.

at least his consistent...thats more than u can say for everyone else.....hes consistentaly bad....but alot of people have played worse....

Cut him ASAP, he's done IMO, I don't trust him at all anymore..
I don't want to see him lose his job being he has been good for the Saints in the past, hell cut him and maybe the Bucs would pick him up..

Hell, do him like they did McAfee, give him a front office job or an asst coachs job. Je knows how to play the position, he just gone past his years in this league.

I agree, he does understand how to play the position it's just sad that he lost some of his speed and his awareness on the field.

.. nope. Thomas did much better than David has done, or will ever do, IMO. Sure he got "burned" by Steve Smith once, but who doesn't? For most of the evening he kept Smith in check. Smith caught 4 for 47 yards.

You may want to see Thomas gone, don't blame you, but don't let emotion blind you. Had David been covering Smith, the score would have not been close at all. I rather see Thomas out there than see David.
