Game ball goes to ...
So many players on the Saints' roster could qualify for the Game Ball award for the dominating win over Seattle, but if I had to pick one player it would be Drew Brees. Brees did an excellent job of finding the open reciever and threw with great accuracy.
If you could pick one player, who would you give the Game Ball to for this win over Seattle? |

Mike Karney! not because of his numbers, but because of everyone elses numbers. Brees, Bush, Patten, Moore - they all had good games. But the one game ball to give away would have to go to the crank that turned the engine - Karney. The defense played a very good game (they weren't on the field all night - Karney). Bush got loose several times. He still has to learn to use Karney's blocks better, but that will come in time. We only got a taste last night. The Karney/Bush set WORKS! The Karney/any-other-back set will work! I hope they keep it up. Brees was comfortable in the pocket - Karney. Karney gave Bush/Brees options off of every play, made the defense play honest, and have to bite on the play action. Hands down - game ball to Mike Karney!

That special teams touchdown pretty much set the tone for the game. Game ball goes to the ST.

Josh Bullocks- EASY PICK
Blocked field goal and made HUGE pick albeit on a horrible pass from Hasselback. |

I'll go with David Patten. Over 100 yards receiving. Showed he can be a solid #2 guy and take some of the pressure off of Marques Colston. He played extremely well. Props to David.
