Saints Have Played the Toughest Schedule in the NFL To Date
Saints opponents are 19-9.
In 7 of those games, Saints opponents were playing each other. Take those 7 games and the Saints' win over Seattle out of the equation and Saints opponents are 12-1 against the rest of the league. This makes me feel a lot better about our chances the rest of the way. What do you yall think about this? |

Championship caliber teams (remember, that's what we were supposed to be) beat the other good teams. Losing to teams that have good records des not make the losses easier or better. Winning against bad teams should be a given, and winning against good teams expected.
I do take this win as a step in the right direction, but this team has a long way to go and it dug itself a deep hole to climb out of. |

I don't know if the Saints will make the playoffs or not, but they will play their best.

The Saints have played poorly - that's why we are 1-4. If we continue to play poorly we will be 1 and whatever. We have the tools to beat any team on any given Sunday, but it is not automatic, we have to make it happen - every week. We have to execute, minimize the mistakes, and maximize our opportunities when they are presented.

it seems like our schedule is much easier the rest of the way. we need to go 8-3 the rest of the way to have a good shot at postseason. if we can just get in i think we can make some waves.

Re: Saints Have Played the Toughest Schedule in the NFL To Date
What troubles me the most about the Saints' chances to rebound to the top of the division is Tampa Bay's remaining schedule and the way they are playing. The Saints are the toughest opponent I see left on their schedule. Garcia is playing solid, and TB just picked up RB Michael Bennet to strengthen their running game.
I try to be optimistic like all true Saints fans, but if the goal in our division is to get 9 wins for a playoff birth, then TB only has to win 5 of their next 10 (with a weak schedule), Saints have to win 8 of their next 11. This wouldn't be such a high hurdle to jump if Tampa were sucking, but they`re not. *and btw, I figured out the number crunching I guess we`ll wait n see how it plays out. WHODAT! |

I think you're fishin' bud.
