Re: saints won, but does it matter?
Winning always matters. Every successful step gets us closer to where we need to be as a team. At least now we know that we CAN win. If we continue to execute and play with passion, we will get victories, and the confidence that comes with it.

The win means a great deal. We beat Seattle at home. Tampa didn't do that. This is a big win for this team. This team took the "12th man" out of the game. If they make improvements this week, the wins will keep coming.

Re: saints won, but does it matter?
Any victory maters, especially for a struggling team. But I do agree with a couple of things in the article. First, Coach Payton really do need to call more conventional plays to get those safeties to stop playing so deep on us, we signed TE Eric Johnson because of his receiving skills, I say put those skills to work. The more we work the underneath routes the more the safeties have to come up and play us which eventually will lead to the big play, patience is definitely a virtue for our offense. And secondly, why don't he run Bush up the middle with big Karney leading the way, I think Reggie could bust a big one up the middle with Karney knocking those LBs on their asses and clearing a path straight to the secondary where Reggie does a lot of damage. I just hope Payton don't abandoned the game plan that led to their first victory. GO SAINTS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
