Re: saints vs. falcons......final prediction
I hate playing teams that have "nothing to lose".
Coming in as the clear under-dog, I think Atlanta on defense will bring the blitz on every snap and try to hurry Brees into a mistake. On offense I think Atlanta will start Byron and test the deep ball on the Saints secondary early and often. #1, Saints must protect the ball. I expect Atlanta to make extra efforts to rip the ball.(especially from Reggie). Drew must pick up the blitz and make sure he has a quick release plan to one of the backs or receivers. Keep Karney on the field to pick up the blitz and open holes for Reggie. The Reggie/Karney run game worked last week, try it again. I look for Pierre Thomas to get some carries and make a few highlight reels. I think the Saints playing with confidence in the dome will be too much for whatever Atlanta brings.
