saints vs. falcons......final prediction
i do not like this game at all..........
atlanta is capable of upsetting us as we did the hawks...... i do like it if harrington does'nt play though...... because of wierd feelings i have, i am not picking this game..... however, if the saints don't cover the spread, don't look for em to be too exciting in the weeks to come. the dog, however does pick the saints if it makes you dog lovers feel better....... |

Re: saints vs. falcons......final prediction
I am going to say Harrington may not be able to throw the deep ball like Byron but he is more accurate. neither are running threats. Look for deep passes all night. 20+ on the sidelines to open up the middle. Crumple May be the top receiver.
With the OL so bad there I am looking for another 4+ sacks. What worries me is Norwood. I think he will see more of him than ant other team has this year. They are looking for a spark. He is it. Dunn may go to backup soon. Defensively I am not really that scared of them. They beefed up there pass defense in the draft and that maybe to our benefit this year. Rookies. As long as Drew spreads the ball around and keeps them guessing we should be ok. This is a must win for us in the division as is all the rest of the division games. My cat is agreeing with your dog. Re: saints vs. falcons......final prediction
I hate playing teams that have "nothing to lose".
Coming in as the clear under-dog, I think Atlanta on defense will bring the blitz on every snap and try to hurry Brees into a mistake. On offense I think Atlanta will start Byron and test the deep ball on the Saints secondary early and often. #1, Saints must protect the ball. I expect Atlanta to make extra efforts to rip the ball.(especially from Reggie). Drew must pick up the blitz and make sure he has a quick release plan to one of the backs or receivers. Keep Karney on the field to pick up the blitz and open holes for Reggie. The Reggie/Karney run game worked last week, try it again. I look for Pierre Thomas to get some carries and make a few highlight reels. I think the Saints playing with confidence in the dome will be too much for whatever Atlanta brings. Re: saints vs. falcons......final prediction
I'd like to see more Colston, Moore, and Patten and less Henderson.
I'd also like to see Pierre Thomas and Jamal Branch share some touches and move Reggie around more. I'd really like to see the Saints beat the Falcons in every facet of the game and crush them. Is that too much to ask? By the way, Crumpler is doubtful for this game. There will be a lot of running from the Falcons in this game. Leftwich is not that good. He's just a big dude with a big (inaccurate) arm. |

Re: saints vs. falcons......final prediction
I will not get my hopes too high on this one, no matter what it looks like on paper, this is the Saints vs Falcons. I am going to say that this one comes down to the wire and the Saints pull it out 17-14. Mare kicks a 35 yard FG with 2 seconds left... LOL
