The amount of pressure in our backfield in the last two games vs. the beginning of the season is like night and day. Hopefully, the timing on our pass plays will improve as Brees gets more comfortable with the protection. In addition, the increased protection will allow our pass patterns to full develop. I am looking forward to how we execute next week against an improved 49ers secondary. |

Re: Jammal Brown
I was glad to see Henderson go 1 for 1 - 37 yard TD strike. I know Brees is glad too - glad that he caught it; after everything came together (protection, coverage, route, throw, and catch). If J.B. can give Brees the confidence that he has his backside covered, it will help him make good decisions, and wait that extra second for the right spacing on longer routes. This week is done - good job. J.B. will have to gear up and bring it every week.

im glad he's finally back to the status he was at last year, a Pro Bowl player. I think that bruised knee was really messing up his performance
