Re: Andersen, Horn booed by fans
I wasn't booing, in fact I would never boo Joe Horn. He gave me some fantanstic years, great memories, and though he's moved on, I'll always remain grateful to him for that.
Morten on the other hand - him I'd be willing to boo. Oh, I know he's a legend, he's definitely bound for the HoF, and I respect him for that. In fact I was even a fan of his once. But I started disliking him the moment I saw him stiff a bartender at Igors on St Charles. After running up a tab all night, and acting more than just a little high and mighty. Yeah, him I'd be willing to boo. Even that being said, Morten's a better kicker than what we've got, and I'd take him back in a heartbeat, dislike and all. Olindo Mare just plain scares me, so I'm glad we've been going for it on 4th downs lately. That guy couldn't kick his way out of a paper bag. |
can anyone help me id this tune? it goes thwap thwap boom tch boom tch boom tch.

Re: Andersen, Horn booed by fans
My wife says booing is bad sportsmanship. I don't agree with her or you other girls either.
These two former Saints did a lot for the team and I applauded and praised them along the way. But when a player comes into the dome to try and help another team beat MY TEAM - those players get booed. I like both of these guys as players and would be thrilled to meet them. In any other circumstance I would readily applaud them again. But they deserve what they get when they come to score points against the Saints. |

I agreed, they got healthy boos from me. Yes, they WERE Saints at one time. But now they're the enemy.

Re: Andersen, Horn booed by fans
Both Anderson and Horn will always be loved by Saints fans. However they deserved to get booed at every possible moment. After all, they are now the enemy. All in fun though, like I said they will always be loved by Saints fans...
I could only imagine how bad it would get if Aaron Brooks ever gets the chance to step onto the dome field with enemy gear on. Now that would be interesting... |
