Re: Reggie Hip Pointer
Man, I really wish Coach Payton stop calling that play that Reggie got hurt on. The swing pass is OK but, when they line him up up as a receiver and he steps back for the pass, it never works, when they ran that play earlier he had his legs knock from under him, he could've easily had his knee blown out. I'm just really glad it's not serious, but Payton really should stop calling that particular play, it never works and almost every time Reggie run it he gets rocked. If he wants to keep calling that play then fine, but please run it with someone the opposing defenses are not keying on like another RB or a WR.

Re: Reggie Hip Pointer
Isn’t that the same play that he got nailed on last season during the Eagle’s game?

Re: Reggie Hip Pointer
Against a team like the 49ers, you don't have to be THAT creative. Plus, with a big lead, Thomas should have got more carries and experience.

Re: Reggie Hip Pointer
The play was a wr screen to Bush when he was lined up in the slot. Clements made 2 great plays or our receivers screwed up two block. The play against Phili, was a swing pass to Reggie out of the backfield, 2 totally different plays. I can see where the Saints are coming from with those calls. It's safe passes and it also plays to Reggie's strengths by getting him out in space. Clements is one of the most underrated corners as far as coming up to make a tackle. I still think he's way over-paid.

I wish Coach Payton would stop running that play. Is he trying to have another seriously injured player.
