The first session outdoors is done. The first indoor session is over. The first practice in full pads is finished.

That wasn't a stiff breeze you just felt, it was huge sigh of relief from the New Orleans Saints.

The beginning of the 2003 training camp meant that the formerly laid-up finally had the chance to lob passes (quarterback Aaron Brooks), hobble up and down the sidelines (fifth-round defensive end Melvin Williams) or get those first few plays out of the way (new tight end Ernie Conwell).
