4-4 and here is why
Saints defensive line is better than theirs. Saints offensive line is better than theirs.
Disclaimer: If the outcome of the game comes out as I predict(NO 31 Jax 13) I reserve the right to say I told you so. However if by some act of nature or god the result goes the other way this was not a prediction or what I truly felt would happen just a statement saying this could happen. |

Re: 4-4 and here is why
The Saints d-line is NOT better than the Jags d-line. Even if Stroud doesn't play their d-line is better. The Saints d-line is alright but the Jags have one of the best d-lines in the league. You can tell me you told me so but there is no way that the Saints d-line is better. The Saints o-line might be better though.
Either way, I hope to see a 4-4 Saints team at the end of the weekend. |

Re: 4-4 and here is why
A blow out against the Jags? I hope you are right about the 4-4 record, but I see this one being very close, and not a blow out by either team. I don't think the Saints are going to win this one, but I am holding out for hope that I am seriously wrong. The Saints should have a decent chance at winning if the Superdome gets cranked, if they play defense with 8 or maybe even 9 in the box, blitz the heck out of Gray, and hope all of this stops the run and forces Gray to throw the ball. A conventional front 7 by the Saints is going to get eaten alive by the Jags running game. Hopefully, Gary Gibbs knows this already...

Re: 4-4 and here is why
Sunday will show us who has the dibbs on who is the best...at least on that day. Whoever minimizes the turnovers and controls the ball will win the game. The Saints need a couple of take-aways and have the special teams keep us in good field position. We can get it done but we will have to step it up a notch on the Jags: Karney leading the run and Thomas and Young clogging the middle and bouncing everything outside.

This will be a hard fought game. Lets get out of this injury free. Remember they gave Indi all they could handle. Jack is back in the house and he will make sure his team is ready for us. We will find out if we are really back or not in this game. Low scoring affair in this one. 17 to 10. Turnovers determine the winner.

As long as the Jags receivers do not get behind the secondary (which of course means that Fred "GameShow" Thomas cannot play) then all should be fine.

Re: 4-4 and here is why
It's always critical to get ahead early, but even more so in this game. They aren't going to throw the ball much. We need to take away their ability to run the ball by getting up by a couple touchdowns early.
