Re: Can the Saints run the table

I think it's very important for the Saints to take the one-game-at-a-time approach.

However....

I'm NOT on the team in the locker room,
so I'm a eatin' the cheese and strategenizin' this deal down the road.
I want REVENGE!
Bring on the Tampa Chuckie heads,
bring on the Carolina Pathetics (oh Testeverde meet Will Smith, your next),
Bring on the Chicago emBEARassments,
then after that
I want ROMO's over-rated head on a stick .... again. Just to prove it wasn't a fluke.
Then, if any green cheese is left standing, I want it deli sliced and sent back to Wisconsin.
Then I want a shot at Bellacheat-n-company. Just a shot, thats all I want.

I say one PLAY at a time.

Maximum concentration
Maximum effort
Pure professional no nonsense football.

Having said that, Saintsfan4ever :p

I was already thinking that we could do it, run the table, but I think if we go 6-2 the rest of the way, we'll be in the playoffs.

Jason David still worries me. Yeah, he had an interception. And I'm pretty sure he even had one more earlier in the season. But compare the big plays he gave up to the interceptions. I'm thankful to the Jags' QB for not seeing the players David left open on many plays. We need to do something about the CB position if we want to run the table.

speaking of the Lambs, they have lost now 4 O-linemen for significant length of time on each (most for the season). they lost DE Leonard Little today. see article below. that being said, they are a loaded team if all are healthy at the skill spots and we know what Haslett brings with the defense which is fast unit. classic "trap" game. stop Steven Jackson and pressure Bulger who is no Quinn Gray by any means.

IMHO they can win the rest of the games, at worst they may drop one, I just hope it's not against anybody in the NFC South.
Yesterday was the best the team played this season, we can see improvements each week.
I heard Sean Payton on WWL last night, he said that his team will have to improve if they want to get where they want to be later in the season, I know he'll have his team ready to play the rest of the way, I loved hearing him say that they want to get better than they are now...
WhoDat

We need a PK like now, Mare just isn't what we need right now, problem is where does Payton fine such a kicker at this time of the season?

The Rams come to town Sunday wounded which worries me some but the Saints should get the win and that would mean 5 in a row giving them the same record as the Bucs being they are on their bye this week but they still beat us on the tie breaker at this time..

I think 10-6 gets us in either as wild card or division winner. They won't run the table but 6-2 is more than doable.

don't look past the rams
we were once fierce rivals - but that seems to have died down like with SF since realignment - still they are just up the Mississippi .
be nice to the visitors and don't forget it was once the greatest show on turf - and our secondary is prone to giving up big plays.
they could beat us.

I want to get past the Rams first, also.

Then, my major win priorities are Bucs, Falcons, and Panthers. If that happens everything else should fall into place.
