this is a discussion within the Saints Community Forum; I was trying to think of the last time we had a winning streak this long. Was it when we opened the season 5-0 or was it 6-0?...

I believe it was '91 or '92 when we opened with 6 or 7 straight. We did win 4 in a row to close out 2004...remember that? just missed the playoffs because the rams beat the jets. I think the longest winning streak in team history is 9...that was during the 12-3 season in '87.

ohh yeah i remember when the rams beat the jets and got into the playoffs instead of us. i complained for months, im pretty damn sure we had the same record and we beat them head to head that year, yet they made it and we didnt. i think so anyway.
