they went there with the assigned player list to watch and see if there is anyone they may have missed before ordering up scout tapes for the draft. In other words they got free tickets to a very good football game. My dream job.

Pat White is an interesting thought. He's a guy that could slide in the draft. He may be a good late round pick-up as another "slash" type player.

Re: Saints scout at the WVU vs Louisiville game
Look Im not one to say anything bad about WVU or Pat White, but this team does not need him. If White leaves school early for the draft he is making a big mistake, sure hes fast, but his body is not ready for the NFL level. If he slides and we draft him most on this board will not be happy. Meachem has not dressed at all this year and everyone is on his case. Pat White will need time before he is NFL level and it would be in his best interest to stay at WVU another year.
Slaton and Owen Schmitt on the other had is a different story, sadly with our current roster, neither of them have a place on this team. I just hope neither go to anyone in our division, Schmitt doesnt just open holes for the RB, he downright mauls defenders. |
