Young Out for St. Louis Rams

this is a discussion within the Saints Community Forum; IMHO, "minor" knee surgery is sort of an oxymoron. Knees are tricky things. Young has minor knee surgery, Bush limited in practice...

Still worried. Worried enough to put a hit out on Stephen Jackson's knee. That's right Saints fans. I'm offering $10 whole dollars to the man who can incapacitate Stephen Jackson before kickoff Sunday. That's a Hamilton boys. Go get him!

Re: Young Out for St. Louis Rams

Operations on knees can be tricky. My knee looks like railroad tracks. In the old days they just sliced and diced you. I've had 4 of those bad boys.
From what i've read about his, it sounds like a little clean-up job, but you never know. It might take a week or it might take a year. It just depends. Having watched him at training camp last year, I'd say the shortest time possible, this guy is a warrior. I remember that he was ALWAYS, the first one one the practice field everyday.
We need this guy badly, but I also have faith in the backups.

Sometimes it's better to keep your mouth shut and be thought an idiot, than to open it and remove all doubt!!!!!

Carl Spackler, my hero. Cinderella boy at Augusta. Just cut the hamstring and won't be able to follow through on anything pushing it right. I hate to say it but it sounds like Mare.

...so many great lines in that movie!

Oh, that's right. This thread WAS about injuries.

Yeah, it's supposed to be about injuries, but it sure is good to see some humor here at good ol B&G.
