Re: If Saints run the table, Is Payton Coach of the year?
I think you have to at the NFC North for that award. GB has done a great job turning that ship around in two short years. Brett is not the reason for that turn around. Drafting good players has done it. FA has done them well too. They get a RB next year and they could be very dangerous. My vote goes there so far.
Sean has saved the ship this year. Last year he turned it around. |

Anytime you have The Legend (Favre) saying "he changed the way I look at film" and "I've changed some of the old habits I had" you're doing a hell of a job. You also gotta look at Romeo Crenel (sp). I basically called him the worst coach in the league this offseason, so if you base it on exceeding expectations, he's the guy.

Re: If Saints run the table, Is Payton Coach of the year?
All a big shame. Injuries didn't help. Draft didn't help. Free agency didn't help. Poor player selection didn't help. Play selection didn't help.
I am hurting. Foolishly I became a non-Saint by having expectations. Foolish, foolish, foolish. Who Dat |
