Where will the offense rank this year?
To me the only reason the Saints offense did not finish first in the league last year is because of the lack of tighend production and an effective screen pass. I think we will have that this year. I think we will finish first in the league in offense.
Where does everyone predict the Saints will finish on offense this year? |

Where will the offense rank this year?
Depends on what category.
Total Yards? Total Points? I personally think with a reliable TE we will be top 5 yards, top 10 time-of-possession, and 1st in points scored. |

Where will the offense rank this year?
A top 5 is certainly a possibility and likely probable, and a top 10 is almost guaranteed. It all really depends on whether the defense causes the offense to have to get into shootouts to win games, as it was in 2002. If that\'s the case, number one is highly probable.

Where will the offense rank this year?
I hoping we don\'t have the \"shoot outs\" this year. I\'d much prefer the ball control clocking eating methodical scoring drives. It\'s much more difficult to loose a game if our offense has the ball 70% of the game. That is providing we still score with most posessions. As long as our special teams continues to provide the same as last year (or better) and our defense improves and occasionally scores some points or atleast more turnovers our offense with the addition of a real receiving threat tightend, an improved receiving corp, an improved oline...we\'ll be just fine. I personally don\'t care where they rank as far as #1 or # 31 as long as we win and go deep, deep, and deeper than we\'ve ever gone before...even in our dreams!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Where will the offense rank this year?
Totally off top of head, complete guess....
6th - total offense 20th - total defense 1st - special teams Edit... (since I\'ve stuck my butt out this far, might as well extend the rest of it)... Resulting in 10/6 season, wildcard berth. Make it to Divisional playoffs, then get eliminated. Let the flames begin..... [Edited on 31/7/2003 by LordOfEntropy] |

Where will the offense rank this year?
Billy C,
I do believe that this offense has the POTENTIAL to rank 1st in every major category on offense. The limited questions I have regarding the offense would be how well the line gels and how much production we get from the backup RB. We are deeper at WR and TE, QB and OL. We will get more production from the TE spot in the passing game which will open up the running game and create opportunities for the WRs as well. Like you, I think an effective screen and draw play along with production from the TE will round out the few areas the offense lacked last year. We should only be better. #1 is realistic. What other offense in the league should we take a back seat to? Hey coastalkid! Sounds like every mans dream.....to go deeper in places you\'ve never been before. Be careful. You may get what you wish for. |

Where will the offense rank this year?
I\'m going to agree with coastalkid here. I think that the offense has the potential to break records, but I remember the Rams the year after the Superbowl and the Vikes the year Cunningham started. Those offenses were exciting to watch, but neither won the title because they couldn\'t stop anyone. I would much rather watch a boring, defensive, run the ball and drain the clock type of game in which the Saints win rather than a shoot-out that breaks my heart.
I also like the idea of new, deeper places... as long as I get to take my nightlight. |

Loe, I think you are very close. As we are drawing nearer, I am almost willing to give in to the 10-6. We will be 9-7 or 10-6.
