this is a discussion within the Saints Community Forum; I heard the Texans play by play man say this week that if Ahman Green didn't play this weekend, the Texans would not be as good a team. Well, he's not dressing and Rob Dane will start. The question is ...

Ron Dayne carried the ball against the Raiders last week, 21 carries for 122 yards.
I read where Green will not dress for the game.
Saints defense better be ready anyway because Ron is big and hard to bring down.
The problem though with the Texans is their passing game, or lack of.

Man I would hate to see what the Texans would have done if they had a passing game.

Well the Texans have been bad with their passing game, we seemed to make them look really good today, they'll come back down to earth next week I'm sure and I don't have a clue who they will be playing.

Actually the only thing the Texans have been good at this year is their passing game. 7th in the NFL entering this game.

Not sure where these folks are getting their info from, but yeah AJ you're right, our passing game is the only thing that we have had thats been consistent this year. In addition, its way better than we ever had with Carr.

I guess maybe y'all were assuming that - because Schaub has missed some time this season. But really, there's not too much of drop-off (a little yes - but not much) from Schaub to Rosenfels.
