Smith has bee reliable for Saints

METAIRIE — Right defensive end Will Smith has been the one constant on the New Orleans Saints defensive line. Left end Charles Grant has missed the last two games because of a sprained ankle, though he’s expected to return at Carolina on Sunday. Defensive tackle Brian Young played in the season opener but was replaced in the starting lineup by Antwan Lake because Young had missed training camp and the preseason while recovering from late offseason knee surgery. After starting seven straight games, Young missed the last three because of soreness in the knee, and likely will miss Sunday’s game as well. Kendrick Clancy started the first two games at nose tackle, then was sidelined by a toe injury. Hollis Thomas replaced him and has been in the starting lineup ever since. |

One of the few to be reliable for sure. I also like the way Hollis Thomas has played. Fujita has been a standout also.Other than that ????????? Not much to say.

I really like the way Hollis Thomas hustles. I was surprised he wasn't the starter to begin with. He's played well, IMO.

Agreed. I think we'd have a winning record right now if the D could stop the pass once in a while. So, here's a question for you. Assuming all positions in the draft had equal talent, in what order would you draft? Ignore free agency for the sake of this question, I'm just curious about your opinion.

You got to give it to Mckenzie as well. He is playing very well right now.
