ideas to help our secondary
this is a discussion within the Saints Community Forum; my idea since bullocks is never any help in coverage bench him. Start Fred Thomas at Free Safety. Fred is a sure tackler. Sure he has lost speed to cover as corner but as just help as a Free Safety ...

my idea since bullocks is never any help in coverage bench him.
Start Fred Thomas at Free Safety. Fred is a sure tackler. Sure he has lost speed to cover as corner but as just help as a Free Safety he has plenty. I don't think it is that uncommon for cornerbacks past their prime to move to free safety position and be very successful sometimes more so. what do ya think? |

Fred Thomas isn't on the field for a reason. He's done. He can't tackle any better than the younger talent trying to develop on the field. He took a pay cut just to be on the Roster, I don't think he'll be around after this season.
