this is a discussion within the Saints Community Forum; Going Unnoticed.... Colston is 3rd in the NFC in receiving yards. He is tied for 5th in TDs in the NFC http://sports.espn.go.com/nfl/statis...on=2&year=2007 Seeing that 4 recievers make the pro bowl, normally Marques's production should put him in there. Too bad ...

While being productive is good but being exceptional tends to get you noticed more. Sitting pretty though where's he at and I think we'll see more of him down the stretch, lets hope.
Our TE isn't doing such a bad job either. But you do have a better chance at making a pro-bowl if your team is doing well. |

Yes. Colston is going un-noticed. And that is never a good thing.
A big problem though is getting past whoever played in previous years. Pro Bowl 2007 had: Donald Driver Packers Steve Smith Panthers Torry Holt Rams (DNP) Anquan Boldin Cardinals Roy Williams Lions To me, none of these are out and out big names. Boldin and Smith are 2 of the guys with 6 TDs - like Colston Holt and Williams has 5 TDs And Driver is gone (I think). The threat is Terrell Owens. Burgess and Jennings could figure. Jennings especially at the Green Bay revival. Then there is Galloway (whose reputation could improve against JD this week) |

Last year Jerry Rice said he likes Marques Colston because he doesnt run his mouth he lets his game do the talking for him. I do agree about him being in the Pro Bowl. Hes probably going to be the best WR ever.
