McKenzie setting up the tone.

Since no one is giving props to him, I'm going to. MM was tested early and he responded, which I thought set up the tone for the defense, making plays on Steve Smith.

... on a side note, the one thing I can't explain, is why the Panthers didn't match Drew Carter with 3rd Down..

Great great game by Mike... someone needed to step up and lead that secondary. Hopefully this will continue.

He broke up a lot of passes, yeah. I thought he played well. Wish he could've held onto one.

The one play I'm going to rag on him for is that fumble he should've recovered. Instead of dropping onto the ball, he tried to scoop it up on the run. And got tackled from behind while trying to do it.

Other than that, great game MM.

McKenzie is the most solid in the secondary, has been all year...........

He played like he was possessed.

The thing about it, though is sometimes he's too aggressive. If he misses his tackle or shot at an interception, the WR has a clear path to the endzone. However, I'd take his aggressive play, hard hits, and the chance for turnovers rather than just have him sitting back and letting the WR dictate how he covers.

Props for MM!

From seing what happened its easy to get down on the guy for that but really he was just trying to make a play, no fault in that.

I've loved watching Mike McKenzie ever since he played for GB. No one can ever say that he gives up, he's always there and checked in to play.

I'll grant you that sometimes he gets a little overzealous but I'll take that anyday over the alternative.

MM rocks...him and harper are the bright points of the secondary.

Hollis and M&M both have that defensive mentality that we need. Aggressive with a nasty streak. Imagine a CB good enough to force M&M to the #2 roll. Now we are talking. I hope young reads this. I am counting on him.

Overzealous? Bit of a nutter if you ask me. I thought he was a gr8 FA for the Saints. Don't think he has reproduced his GBP form but he is the most consistent since 2004 though.

(My problem is that I remember having really high hopes of Eric Allen back in the 90s but felt he took our money without playing).
