Saints in the Pro Bowl???
With the season winding down, will any Saints make the Pro Bowl? Offensively, Colston's the only viable option...especially when you considder how well Romo and Favre are playing. I think all the O-linemen have been too inconsistent to get the nod.
Defensively, maybe HT? Thoughts? |

Re: Saints in the Pro Bowl???
If the pro bowl voters are really studying, the lone pick is Hollis Thomas. No one else from the 2007 Saints should even get an afterthought. Not even the Fresh Prince.

Re: Saints in the Pro Bowl???
Seriously though we might actually get an OL in the pro-bowl. Right now I have my eye on one.
Colston got a great shot if he can keep gathering steam and finish strong. HT won't get it. Done a good job but pass rushing has been bad. Gets knocked around and bullied A LOT. I don't think he'll get a nod. Weatherford, I assume its a joke right, but he's been a joke here at being the only good thing going on this team at times but he doesn't rank up there in the the top 5 even. The one player I think will get over looked in MM. Consistant CB actually having a good season. This guy has really been a good team member. I think hurts his stats a lot is that we play so much man to man that he can't set up and wait to make a break in zone coverage to get those INT's. |

I think if anyone on the OL goes, it will be Evans. And with 8 sacks on the year, voters can't ignore the OL, even if short drops and Brees' ability to get the ball out are a bigger part. |

Re: Saints in the Pro Bowl???
Evans and Colston are locks in my book if they keep up their play. I still think Drew can get in as #3 QB if he justs lights it up the way he did on the 4 game winning streak and leads us to the playoffs.
I do think that the receivers from other teams that make it should buy Jason David a ticket to Hawaii. He is probably more responsible than anyone for getting them there. |
