Fincher is not surprising. Injury settlement I am sure. Zac was a "?", that is about all I can say about him. Buc is yet another TE. Ok we do not have an Antonie Gates but the TE by committee seems to working ok. So it makes me wonder about FA next year and if the saints maybe tweaking the position yet again next year. I still like the kid from Mizzo. I have no idea about his blocking talents because of there system but he does have good hands. Well something is going to happen next year at TE that for sure.

Re: saints transactions
Well, if they make a big move at TE, then I hope it's not on day one of the draft. As I'm sure you've heard me say far too many times, I wanna see CB, S, & LB happen on that day. And I've been relatively happy with what I've seen out of our TE's lately anyway.
Fincher is no surprise. That was long overdue IMO. |

Re: saints transactions
well lets hope when that time of year rolls around again that i will be able to let you know what guys the saints like and which guys they dont like...You have to think that Devery will be gone, and then you have to decide what to do with Copper and Patten since they will both be free agents as well...that leaves you with Colston, Moore and Meachem so WR will have to be addressed...as will 4 or 5 spots on defense. I look forward to slinging you guys some info this offseason since the guys that were members here last year seemed to appreciate all the info i sent your way...you know the big guy will come through for ya.

Re: saints transactions
Isn't DeAngelo Hall available after this year? He would be sweet to have and we could cut Fred and use Usama and David for depth. Then we can draft high for a solid MLB and hopefully keep Simmons.

Re: saints transactions
I talk to a friend of mine and he said Fincher, said and I quote " I've got my money. " He Fincher was lazy.
I use to cover UCONN football when he played there. Fincher was a really nice kid but Dan said he changed. I really thought he was going to be something, very sad he gave up. |
