Billy Miller
Billy Miller has turned into and has always been a decent alternative in this offense.
Even going back to the Eagles playoff game when he had a couple of good grabs, he appears to to be solid reciever in this offense. The Brees 'jump pass' and his good catch on the third down against the Panthers this week (and TD when he dragged Diggs into the endzone), I'm thinking he has emerged as more than a blocking TE and Drew feels comfortable with him. I like the fact that he is a solid compliment to Johnson and gives another weapon who can streach the field on passing downs. |

Re: Billy Miller
I like Miller's speed and run after catch. His hands let him down once in a while, but he seems to be catching better lately. I think he is a keeper, depending on his blocking. I never can keep up with TE blocking during a game, have to watch it on a replay.

Good FA pickup IMO. Didn't realize that he is 8 year vet.

Re: Billy Miller
hey guys....i dont post much but thought yall should know, this guy was a high school top 100 player as a WR and then went on to become WR at USC. he didnt become a TE until he was drafted by the Broncos in 99. then he became a pretty good TE in Houston. he has always been able to catch....he has learned how to block over the years but he is a natural passing threat, not a blocking TE.
