Bucs vs. Saints final predictions

Well this is it.
A must win for the Saints.
Either we come up with a win and pull within a game of the Bucs for the NFC South or the Bucs pull away with a 3 game lead.

I'm encouraged about this Saints team going into this game Sunday mostly because of the leadership of Drew Brees. We all watched Brees in the second half with Carolina last week where he literally took the bull by the horns and ran away with the game in the 3rd quarter with 21 unanswered points.

I saw a different team last week that dominated the Panthers than the team that gave away a win earlier this season that left us with an 0-4 start. And I think the Bucs are going to experience a different team in the dome this sunday than the team they saw in game 2 this season where we took a 14-31 beating.

Now.... It's our turn.... same score 31-14

but this time we get the W

The Saints are getting to being the team that people thought they would be in the beginning of the year.

close game here no matter which QB starts for the bucs. Turnovers loss this game. Lets throw in dropped passes. They killed us in the first game. We need long time consuming drives to keep our defense of the field and fresh for the 4th. At least 3. This game may come down to Omare's leg. For God's sake please do not boo him. We need the 12th man to be smarter this time around. We the fans can make a big difference this time. 24-21

Re: Bucs vs. Saints final predictions

Pressure on Garcia/Gradkowski is going to be key to the game. Hits/sacks on Garcia will miimize his effectiveness. Run blitzes keep the Bucs offense from getting any consistency.

However, Washington proved that it doesn't how well your defense plays or your offense moves the ball if you turn the ball over. On 5 turnovers, the Bucs gained 16 points - 1td and 3fgs while gaining only 9 first downs and 192 yards of total offense! Brees must make good decisions and Bush has got to hold onto the pig after he's hit. Otherwise...

Sobering reality is that the Saints are inconsistent and unreliable on both sides of line of scrimmage this season. Beating the Panthers was remarkably similar to beating the other teams who were wounded and confused, which the Bucs are not. Despite a sputtering offense, they've won 3 in a row.

Make it 4. Bucs 20-17. Brees throws 2 interceptions, Pierre Thomas gives up a red zone fumble. Jason David loses Galloway and the rest of his dignity on two long scores, accounting for 80% of the Bucs offense.

I watched the bucs game last week and those guys play hard on both sides of the ball. I really dont think we can play as physical as they do. I wish we had a defense with a mean streak.....or a defense at all for that matter.

Big game. We have to rip the next 2 games off to stay in the game for the playoffs.
