Pierre Thomas
Got this off of wwl.com
RB Reggie Bush fully practiced on Thursday after going at it on a limited basis on Wednesday. On a more serious note, RB Pierre Thomas suffered a bruised kidney according to Payton in the game against the Panthers. "He had it coming away from the game and he had tests done and everything seemed alright, and then after yesterday’s practice he had some more blood in his urine," said Payton following practice on Wednesday. "So we backed off today. We’ll just watch and see where he’s at tomorrow." Thomas did his best to stay involved at practice on Thursday by helping gather footballs and practice pads but was eventually told to relax. Overall the injury is a bit nerve wracking, "You don’t see that everyday, I almost fainted the first time," said Thomas. "I’m good. I feel healthy, like I can go out and practice hard yesterday and did well. I feel like I can go out there and practice again, feel like I can play a game but I just want to be careful." |

Re: Pierre Thomas
Internal bleeding is nothing to play around with. I thought he was bruising his way in that 4th quarter, but this (could be) serious.

I agree with xan. I say we sit him and call up branch. I'm sure there's a TE we can waive or something. |

Re: Pierre Thomas
I don't know if there's anything scarier than blood in your piss. Dang. Hope he gets better. Also, I hope we continue to try and run the ball up the middle, it opens up the rest of the offense.
