I was really kind of surprised that he did not stick with the Saints this year. Nothing at all against Weatherford, just the fact that Berger is a great punter and does a great job on kickoffs. Guess the Mare trade kind of ruined it for him with the Saints. I really figured when the season started it would be Berger and Carney. Instead, we probably upgraded the actual punting game by a slim margin, but went way down in the field goal kicking. Go figure...

If you remember, Berger was injured and they didn't know if he would be able to play at all. Seems he made a comeback. i'm glad for him but we did ok. I like Weatherford. He'll be ok.
