We're lucky we were even in this game
The defense was (is) terrible. This third string QB, ate our lunch, Galloway had his way and this unknown RB ran all over us. Another typical game were we had to score 30 to win and with the penalties, dropped passes and a total lack of a running game, we could not establish anything on offense. Two long passes kept it close, but the fumble at the end was going to happen one way or another.
Watching the game in the dome, I said that there is no way that we should be ahead of this team anyway. Thank you MM for saving us and giving us a chance to win. Don't blame the offense as much as you should see the writing on the wall. This defense (passing) is terrible, maybe the worse I have ever seen. |
Seated in the top row of AREA 51?

Word. We're ally saints fans - but we can see the obvious. You know I'll root for the team every week - but it would be easier if we were a little bit better.

Re: We're lucky we were even in this game
I guess there just weren't enough ACES in the deck for both LSU and the Saints. This game lets us know where we are. Dropping this game the way we did, shows us that we are scratching to hang around the middle of the NFL pack and can easily slip toward the bottom of the bucket any week we line it up. Nobody, and I mean NOBODY knows which Saints team is going to show up week to week. The insiders don't even know. We don't even deserve a wild card spot...not the way we play. Let some team that is consistently average take a shot at being average enough to win.
