this is a discussion within the Saints Community Forum; Trufant may be the most realistic, but I would prefer Haynesworth. Asante is one fine CB. I watch him every week. I'm sure his asking price will be around the highest in the leaque for CBs. I recall hollerin Trufant!!!!! ...

Haynesworth sure, but the guy I want to see in NO is Nnamdi Asomugha, the CB for the Raiders. The guy is 6-2, 210... he got 8 INTs in 2006, and this year no one is throwing his way.

Re: Best defensive Free Agents this Off-Season
.. now you are just trying to embarass me
![]() ... but seriously, no one is talking about him, because the Raiders blow big dessert wind. But this guy has coverage skills, and surely will not be outjumped by anyone. Just by being near the WR, the WR looks covered. Guy's big for a CB. Plus he's from Lafayette ![]() |

Re: Best defensive Free Agents this Off-Season
Nnamadi would be my #1 target... wouldn't cost as much as the other guys but just as effective imo. Looks like Tennessee has over 40 million dollars in cap room for next season... our chances of getting him are quite slim now. We have around 34 mil.

Re: Best defensive Free Agents this Off-Season
If Tenn has that much in to spend why are we even mentioning Haynesworth?
On that note, I'd love to see Trufant or Asomugha. I dont think we can afford Sameul nor would I wanna give that kind of money to a CB. |
