Taking down the wounded water buffalo

The Cards are in bad shape right now. Kurt Warner is really banged up with torn elbow ligaments and bad ribs. He may have injured his knee last Sunday as well.
Boldin will probably play on Sunday but may be limited by the toe injury that kept him out last week.
Leonard Pope was placed on IR with a dislocated ankle. So they are thin at TE now.
Will Smith has been knocking QB's out of games all year so if Warner goes down I have no clue who there backup is.

My point is this. We are playing at home. We need to have a loud crowd, charged up team, and kick the crap out of this wounded buffalo and break their will from the opening whistle.

I think we win this game and set up a huge rematch from last year's playoffs against Philly.

Re: Taking down the wounded water buffalo

The Cards still have a pretty good rusher named Edgerrin James. Their Wrs Fitzgerald and Boldin could probably beat our secondary all day. I know Warner or Leinart arent playing. Their 3rd and 4th srting QBs are Tim Rattay and Tim Hasselback. If we just pressure whoever is playing Qb we should win and stop letting the the fans down in the SuperDome who payed money to see them.

Just get the job done where we failed against St. Louis, Tampa and Carolina.
