Injured Saints RB to practice this week
"He's a little bit ahead of schedule. That's been encouraging," Payton said of Bush, who missed the previous two games with a torn posterior cruciate ligament in his left knee. "I think he's feeling a lot stronger on it. He's obviously moving around a lot better on it.
"We'll see where he's at Wednesday, but I know he's planning on practicing, and that will be a plus." Bush hoping to play against Eagles- NOLA.com |

Re: Injured Saints RB to practice this week
Put him in the "Reggie" role and he will do fine. As I see things, he should get about 15-19 touches per game. About 3 from punts, about 5-8 receptions, and 7-10 running attempts is about it. Using him this way should maximize his big play potential, and keep him from getting worn down. Now, if the dude wants to get more touches, get busy in the weight room! Imagine Reggie with that speed going from around 203 to the 215 to 220 range? Now that could be a big turning point in his career.
