Colston says he's not bothered by Pro Bowl snub | TheLedger.com
He absolutely deserves it," said Brees, who started in the NFL's all-star game last season after leading the league in passing. "Certainly, every year, there are guys who get left out of the Pro Bowl. There are so many great players and it seems like there are so many guys who are deserving and don't make it because ... there are only so many spots. |

Re: Colston says he's not bothered by Pro Bowl snub
I think Colston is one of the more honorable players among the NFL today. If he says it doesn't bother him, he probably means it.
This guy could be out there touting an ego like some more infamous players *coughOchoCincoTerrellOwensRandyMosscough* but he doesn't. He comes to work, does his job (and a damned fine one at that) and doesn't showboat. I think I love him. |

Re: Colston says he's not bothered by Pro Bowl snub
Still laughing...
When my husband and I were in Disney we just happened to run into a family from New Orleans and we started talking football with them (we had on our Saints visors). Somehow we got on the topic of Dallas and they commented how the Cowboys(girls?) were nothing but a bunch of crybabies. And here I thought I was the only one who felt that way... |

The more I think about it, Power Rankings are just the team version of the Pro Bowl. Both are SO gay. Thanks for making that connection for me, SF.

Well, perphaps 11 Cowboys will return from Hawaii with brand new injuries. The ProBowl is nothing but a waste of time (and in some cases, talent).

Re: Colston says he's not bothered by Pro Bowl snub
I'll tell ya I was miffed that Drew wasn't recognized but Matt Hasselbeck got a nod. Other than maybe Tom Brady, I'm not sure there is a QB more responsible for their team's playoff chances. Colston would have also been real good but Drew was a calm center in this year's offensive maelstrom.
But as was mentioned, the Pro Bowl is now a Good Ol' Boys Club with egos to manicure. Additionally, would I want quality Saints injuring themselves needlessly? I almost thought Drew's career went swirly after last year's elbow injury in Hawaii. What a nervous few weeks that was. |

Just ran into a cowgirls fan today. They want us to make the playoffs. They want to beat us into the dirt like we did to them last year. I guess they will line dance us to death
