i know everyone would be mad if we went offensive player first round
but what if they take: Jake Long OT Michigan
Fred Davis TE USC 6'4 255,Fred Davis is one of the best all around tight ends in this draft. Coming in as a receiver, you know he has the talent to be a playmaker catching the football. He has the athleticism, speed, and quickness to get open, make defenders miss, and get down the field vertically. What most didn’t expect was his blocking ability. As a sophomore, he was frequently used on the field because of his ability to block.It is tough to find a knock in Davis as far as tight ends go. He is a complete tight end.
i would be happy if we got either of these. Either could start day one,both are positions of need, and especially with TE we would finally have one that is both pass catching and blocking

Would I be mad? - yes. Not because those guys don't have talent, as I'm not even familiar with them. I wanna see D in the first day of the draft. Nothing else.

I've said I wouldn't even mind us drafting an offensive player in the first round if he's the BPA at the time. I'm also a fan of Fred Davis but wouldn't consider drafting him until late in the first round. Jake Long is a top 5 pick... so he's pretty much out of consideration at OL.

Receivers I'd consider mid 1st round would be DeSean Jackson, Malcolm Kelly, and Mario Manningham. However, there are plenty of talented receivers out there in free agency and it would probably be best if we took one of these guys... Jabar Gaffney, Bryant Johnson, DJ Hackett, or Ben Utecht at tight end.

Defensive favorite of mines whom I hope will be there are Dan Connor and Quentin Groves as well as the top corner prospects in Cason, Kelly, Thomas, and Jenkins. If I had my choice, as much as I love Dan Connor, I'd like to see us draft Groves. We need an OLB that can get to the passer and he fits the bill. Plenty of corners will still be there in the second.

if we got long id be mad, only cuz it would mean we traded up to get him. he wont be there when we pick.

well Long would be stretch. we will be picking out of the top ten so he will be gone. I think barring a trade down, which I would not mind, we might be faced with choiring the best LB, CB or QB on the board.
Everyone knows I would love a LT to move brown back to RT but at that point on the draft it may not be the BPA.

	Everyone is entitled to be stupid, but some abuse the privilege. All little common sense goes a long way.
