"There aren't going to many more opportunities to be on a team. . . . and I feel like this is a championship-caliber team or else I wouldn't have re-signed here. You don't get very many opportunities to be in a position to be on a team like this. It kind of hurts because as you get older, you know you don't have too many chances left.

"When I was younger, it was always like, 'There's always next year.' Then you start realizing you're looking at the older guys who are slightly whimpering, slightly crying, and now I know how they were feeling."
