i have a bad feeling that there wont be much available on the defensive side of the ball once players are tagged. Aside from briggs and sameul and i dont like the idea of overpaying for either of them.

I agree that most of these guys will get tagged, but let's face it, all the free agents now a days are overpaid. At least they are proven and very good...We over paid for Grant on a contact extension last year. That seems to be the trend, overpaying has really taken over. I'd rather over pay and get production, rather than over paying and get nothing i.e. Jason David
