Re: Jack Ikegwuono

Big ten baby. Yep I have seen him play. A few times. The quote that fits him best in the write up is:

The two scouts noted that Ikegwuonu seemed to raise the level of his game against the conference's top receivers.

13 GP; 13 GS; 41 TT, 3.5 TFL, 2 INT, 11 PBU, 1 FF; 1st team All-Big 10 in '06. 13 GP; 4 GS; 26 TT, 2 TFL, 3 INT, 3 PBU; Honorable mention freshman All-American in '05. Redshirt in '04.

The problem is the big ten did not have elite WRs this year. Teams did not throw at him that much this year either. They picked on the opposite side more. But like any Badgers defensive player they must love to hit. He is worth a third rounder from us. I would pick him in a heartbeat. But he maybe gone by the bottom of the second. He would make a great FS also.

However, he also has a Jan. 14 trial date set in Sycamore, Ill. He has pleaded not guilty to charges of residential burglary and criminal trespass. - Jeff Potrykus, Milwaukee Journal Sentinel

Suspended for bowl game (but later reinstated) after arrest with brother Bill at Northern Illinois--charged with burglary and trespassing off-campus apt. for X-box game system.

Well then again a third does look likely. Was he in the wrong place at the wrong time? Sounds like it to me. Wisconsin would never had let him play if he was the main man in the crime. They just do not operate that way. I have seen them suspend players for less than this and not reinstate them. So there has to be more to this story.

Re: Jack Ikegwuono

Nope but he is a sure tackler. One of the best ones in the draft. He does not get beat deep. Besides other teams stayed away from him.
