Reggie Bush is a Saint in the NFL now. That is not going to change. Besides, how is his Heismann "tarnished?" Did he take steroids? No. Did he CHEAT in any sort of way? No. None of this has anything to do with football. I doubt Reggie even cares if you take his trophy away. It's not like people are going to stop thinking that he clearly deserved it. If they really DO change their minds, they're just morons and who cares what they think anyways? |

Re: Reggie may never recover his reputation
WOW. When will they just let the kid play? Even if they snag his Heisman, who would deserve it more? No one. The kid's FOOTBALL PLAY won him that, no money would have done what he did on the field in college. Period.

Re: Reggie may never recover his reputation
This type of stuff happens in some sort of fashion or another, in every University across the US. The agent is just pissed that "HE" did something that broke NCAA rules by even talking with Reggie, and did not earn millions when Reggie turned pro. The agent isn't the victim, he's the perp. Why is he not being hung out to dry and losing his right to come within 500 yards of a NCAA player?
I look at it as Reggie saw an opportunity to take care of his folks...and he did. I'm not condoning what he did by any means. But I feel the agent got what he deserved. He wanted to "USE" Reggie, but instead..Reggie "USED" him. |
