He is a player!He has numbers in 3 seasons that would take Charles Grant 6 seasons to get.

That's great from a fantasy perspective. But I pose the same question to you that I posed to my brother this weekend:

Who would be the odd man out in the defensive end rotation?

Grant has already been paid. The guy isn't going anywhere. Do you trade Smith? That's a dicey proposition.

I really think that you're going to simply have to work with what you've got at defensive end.

On the D-line the focus should be on the tackle spot. Thomas fits pretty well. But the D-line really needs a stud in the middle next to Thomas that can push the pocket, suck up double teams (freeing up the ends), and keep the MLB clean to attack the hole on interior runs.

Haynesworth would be ideal. But the Titans aren't going to let the guy get away. Dorsey will be gone by the time the Saints draft. Sedrick Ellis looks like a guy that may be possible to get in the first round.

I believe it's the critical spot on the D-line, not end.

Will Smith has not really set the world on fire either....but a stud d-lineman would be nice as well,anybody who can get pressure on the QB would be a big help.
