I really think that you're going to simply have to work with what you've got at defensive end. On the D-line the focus should be on the tackle spot. Thomas fits pretty well. But the D-line really needs a stud in the middle next to Thomas that can push the pocket, suck up double teams (freeing up the ends), and keep the MLB clean to attack the hole on interior runs. Haynesworth would be ideal. But the Titans aren't going to let the guy get away. Dorsey will be gone by the time the Saints draft. Sedrick Ellis looks like a guy that may be possible to get in the first round. I believe it's the critical spot on the D-line, not end. SFIAH |
Super Bowl Championships: New Orleans Saints:1, Carolina:0, Atlanta Chokers: STILL ZERO
Only Atlanta choked in an unchokable situation... Life is definitely good. |

Will Smith has not really set the world on fire either....but a stud d-lineman would be nice as well, anybody who can get pressure on the QB would be a big help.

I want Allen but he's likely to be franchised.

I bet he'll be franchised. They can't let a player like him get away. Wish they would. Jed Allen a SAINT. A wish
