Look, time after time we've seen playmaking linebackers pass the Saints by either via stupidity(trading up for J. Sullivan) or timing(AJ Hawk since Reggie was available @2), etc, etc... IT'S TIME WE DRAFT A LEGIT 1ST ROUND TACKLE MACHINE LINEBACKER. Address the secondary and D-line during Free Agency, plus there will be great quality defenders at number 41.

I feel the same way about a Playmaking safety.
We haven't had one since Sammy Knight.

If I were GM, I'd get Kenny Phillips or the best LB available at #10

A playmaker at safety will not help if we cannot generate any pass rush. Safety will not help with our crappy pass rush.

Sometimes, a playmaking Saftey causes the QB to hold the ball long enough to be sacked.
